About Muhammad Bilal Abdulhayi
Mr. Muhammad Bilal is currently serving Foundation for Ageing and Inclusive Development (FAID) as Advocacy Officer at a BMZ funded project. He is specialist in projects on advocacy and youth engagement specially in terms of Inclusive and sustainable development. He has the experience of facilitating training sessions at community, civil society and government level. He has completed his M.Phil. in Public Administration from Baha-ud-din Zakariya University, Multan.As a climate activist, He actively participate in climate action campaigns at both national and provincial levels and emphasized on inclusive climate actions. Recently, He championed the integration of older people's rights into climate justice by organizing impactful events, such as “The Impact of Climate Change on Food Security of Vulnerable Groups” and “The Impact of Climate Change on Older People: Strengthening Care & Support Systems (Relation to SMOG)”.Moreover, He is currently coordinating 03 Provincial (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Punjab,) and 01 National (Islamabad) network. He is one of the four finalists at VSO International Global Impact Awards 2021 under Livelihood category. He is also part of several National and International youth clubs. Some of them are: National Youth-led Policy forum, Voice for Rights Youth Network, Active Citizen-British Council Program, Model OIC Youth Forum and GovJunction.He has served HelpAge International in year 2023-2024, Institute of Urbanism in year 2022-2023, VSO International in 2019-2022, Plan International in 2015-2018. He had previously served as community volunteer. He has started his career journey from Youth advocacy in 2012 from Muzaffargarh and then further, served national as well as international organizations like College of Youth Activism and Development, Voice for Rights (Children and Youth Network), British Council, Chanan Development Association, Participatory Welfare Service, Youth Energetic services.
