Currently I'm a Business Manager for Utah State University. More specifically, I'm in charge of the Uinta Basin and Brigham City Campuses, with a smattering of duties across the Statewide campus system. I review complex budgets, purchasing, and other business needs on the various campuses. I supervise a number of employees and help empower people to do their best work in an environment they love!Previously, I've been a project manager in various capacities at BambooHR. I educated and guided clients through a complex implementation process so that they could successfully and easily access HR information and run payroll, allowing them the ability to focus on other important aspects of their jobs. I loved this work because it provided me the opportunity to make meaningful connections with like minded professionals, while making positive impacts in their lives.I am also the CFO and Co-Founder of Recreation Underground, a small outdoor recreation business in Huntington, UT. We specialize in bicycle sales, bicycle repair, as well as rock climbing, bouldering, skiing, and various other outdoor products. "Our mission is to be the leading outdoor recreation resource in the Castle Valley. To enrich quality of life for our local citizens and visitors by offering knowledgeable personalized services, quality goods, and the ultimate outdoor experience. We aim to integrate outdoor recreation in the Castle Valley while honoring our coal industry heritage by supporting local business, education, and recreation."Throughout my life I have always loved school and learning. I've been lucky to have the opportunity to attend multiple universities and have learned many excellent skills that have helped get me to where I am today. I’ve obtained an MBA, as well as a secondary Masters in Management and Leadership along with BA in Human Resource Management.
