As the enterprise health data warehouse of the University of Colorado, Anschutz, Compass is fully integrated into Google Cloud and integrates patient data from the electronic medical records at UCHealth and Children's Hospital Colorado, provider billing data from CU Medicine, and -omics data from the Colorado Center for Personalized Medicine. This data is further enriched with a variety of state and public data sources. We use advanced algorithms to link those data to create a longitudinal record that cannot exist within any single data source. Compass makes these data available to our partners through a range of means, from self-service de-identified cohort analyses to fully identified, line-level datasets suitable for advanced analytics.

I used advanced biochemical and electrophysiological techniques to examine the molecular pharmacology of a class of synaptic proteins known known to underlie second messenger signalling at glutamatergic synapses in the CNS.In lay-terms, I studied the pharmacology of how specific proteins in the brain, at nerve endings, can help modulate the strength of signals between nerves. This is the mechanism that underlies our ability to form and retain memories.
