Knowledge of various market sectors that includes super-high rises, commercial, residential, mixed use developments, hotels, industrial warehouses, factories, malls, hospitals, rail metros, airports and many more.SPECIALITIES: -Subject matter expert in the interpretation and implementation of local and international building codes and standards, such as the UAE Fire Code, Saudi Building Code (SBC), NFPA, IBC, and IFC. -Strong understanding of all aspects of fire and life safety, such as calculations for means of egress, occupancy classifications, construction and compartmentation, fire separations, occupant load calculations, structural fire resistance, fire stop systems like through penetrations and resistive joints, and opening protectives (fire doors, dampers, fire shutters, fire and smoke curtains)-Strong expertise in fire protection design and installation, fire and life safety audits, fire risk assessments, and testing and commissioning of all fire and life safety systems.-Strong knowledge of all MEP fire and life safety systems, including but not limited to fire pumps, sprinklers, standpipes, water-based systems, gas-based systems, foam-based systems, smoke control systems, fire alarm and voice evacuation systems, two-way communication, kitchen hood suppression, emergency/exit lighting, etc. I am fascinated with the industry I work.
