I also managed multiple applications / products simultaneously (some preveiously existing), all built in React Native to leverage the benefits of rapid cross-platform development.• Installed automated building and testing CI/CD pipelines, using Fastlane for build and deploy actions for all mobile apps, and leveraging Github Actions for other CI checks.• Architected a GraphQL mobile proxy in AWS to optimize data requests for all of our mobile apps and reduce data transfer by 90%.• Pivoted briefly to create a real-time events service in Go (Golang) that delivers real-time score updates. • Grindr is best known as THE biggest product in the LGBTQ+ dating app space, rivaling other products like Tinder and Bumble. For many years, Grindr only existed as a native application for iOS or Android, with very little to zero web presence. I was hired to join the team responsible for bringing the Grindr experience to web browsers, which we launched in May 2023.• Within the larger web team, I led the development of customer-facing features like Incognito Mode and Advanced Filtering for Grindr's web platform. Implemented end-to-end testing using Playwright and Github Actions, ensuring a smooth user experience.
