I am a Tunisian / French musician composer and music expert with over 23 years of experience. My work spans music performance and composition, artistic direction, cultural management, and project consultancy. As the director of the Carthage International Festival, I played a crucial role in reshaping the programming and collecting the festival's archives to preserve its rich history. I was responsible for developing partnerships and fundraising with public and private sectors..In 2019, I also served as the artistic director of Carthage Music Days, contributing significantly to the development of the Tunisian music export market. Additionally, I led the Sousse International Percussion Festival for three years.As a jury member and expert I worked for prestigious events such as Visa for Music in Morocco, Babel Music XP in Marseille and Music in Africa foundation, Beirut and Beyond , Upbeat, Almawred and as panelists in différent international festivals and conference such as womex, Mama music conventions, Arabesques, Al Ula future cultural summit …I have been involved as subject matter expert with the UNESCO program for music in Morocco and recently with Masary program in Abou Dhabi for the Direction of Culture and Tourism..I have an in-depth understanding of both French and international stakeholders in the music industry and am well-versed in the workings of cultural institutions in France. My five-year role as an artistic advisor with Le Silo in the Occitanie region has deepened my appreciation for the importance of decentralized culture and regional cultural significance. This experience has equipped me with valuable insights into fostering local and international partnerships and driving strategic development.As the head of the music department at the Atelier des Artistes en Exil in Paris , I have focused on using music as a tool for social inclusion, fostering international relations, and promoting cultural diplomacy. I believe in the power of music to bring people together and create positive social change.In recognition of my contributions to the arts, I was honored as a Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by Roselyne Bachelot, the French Minister of Culture, in 2021.
