I am a partial-time maintenance engineer at Slimani Energy, where I ensure the optimal functioning and performance of power generation systems and components, such as gensets, inverters, and low-voltage installations. I have extensive technical knowledge in working with products from Volvo Penta, Cummins, Perkins, Stamford, Loroy-somer, Mecc-alte, ComAp, DSE, Victron Engie and others, up to 800 KVA. I also have excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, as I can quickly and effectively identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. Additionally, I am responsible for preventive maintenance planning and customer negotiation.Besides my professional experience, I am also pursuing a master's degree in energy engineering at PAUWES, the Pan African University Institute of Water and Energy Sciences, as an African Union scholar. I am eager to deepen my knowledge and skills in renewable energy systems, IoT devices, data analysis, programming, optimization, and communication, which are essential for addressing the energy-water-food nexus and its impact on sustainable development. I recently completed a two-month internship at the Centre de Développement des Energies Renouvelables (CDER), where I collaborated with UDES/CDER, MG FARM research project, and Dimel Algeria to optimize energy consumption and water management in a pilot farm using solar power and IoT devices. I collected and analyzed data from various systems and devices, and evaluated their performance and efficiency. I am passionate about learning and applying new technologies and methodologies in the fields of energy, electrical, and automation engineering, and I hope to contribute to cutting-edge research and innovation in these areas.
