Since 2017, I have successfully and safely guided the organisation in its leadership transitions. Currently, I lead the organisation’s board work, including selecting new members, implementing good governance policies, and decision-making processes. I work closely with the director on strategy and vision, as well as on developing governance policies that focus on gender, representation and self-reflexivity as an organisation.Some of my selected achievements are:● Established and managed a talented team of 30 highly skilled at delivering viable and world-class services to 6K people, all of it in a highly challenging social context. ● Created a high-quality sanitation system based on mobile dry toilets connected to a service that eliminates the hazardous waste from households in a climate friendly way.● Co-founded a cross-sector alliance to further container-based sanitation policy (CBSA).● Authored and published an article on the Urgency of Reflexivity in Social Entrepreneurship on the LSE Engenderings blog, as well as a recent op-ed on the Human Right to Water in Peru’s leading newspaper.● Safely guided organisation's leadership transitions through strategic and robust decision-making.● Registered Peru’s first B Corporation; pioneered ground-breaking social entrepreneurship across the WASH sector.● Built the sector’s only entirely locally-led board, with members including former ministers and leading researchers.● Spoke on a panel at last year’s COP27: United Nations Climate Change Conference. -
