In this capacity, managed challenging workloads (for 17 employees) immediately following a significant reduction in force (RIF), demonstrated leadership ability and improved profitability by reducing non-wage departmental expenses.Led a team tasked with providing cost & investment analyses and support for Local Service Voice Product offerings (retail and wholesale).o Provided high quality custom cost development (CCD) for Centrex and E911 for Verizon Business, fostering revenue growth and generates about $300M+ in contracted revenues.o Played an integral part in the roll out of FiOS Digital Voice (FDV), a critical and successful Verizon offering that currently generates over a $1b in annual revenues.o Developed a new Unbundled Network Element (UNE) and retail feature unit investment component templates which were based on the VZ-developed Investment model. The design and implementation of the switch feature templates simplified feature unit investment development and contributed to the elimination of annual contract expense of $1.3 million (paid to Telcordia for the SCIS model).o Supported major FCC and state regulatory filings such as the Missoula Plan (Phantom Traffic), USF Assessment study and Switched Access filings.

Services included Station Message Detail Recording (SMDR) and Customer Moves and Changes (CMAC) standardization/stabilization retail tariff offerings (projected total annual VZ revenue of $7M for SMDR and $10M for CMAC), CNET promotion offerings, Call Intercept, Local Number Portability (LNP), CallMax and AIN (N11, CRS) services.

Succesfully performed cost studies and financial analyses for retail and wholesale regulated services to support Verizon's overall plan to achieve earnings objectives.Developed and successfully completed cost studies for the CNET PLUS standardization retail tariff service offering for VZ - West. Total annual Verizon revenue impact was $8M.Completed the VZ - Hawaii Telecommunications Relay Service (TRS) cost study to increase the monthly TRS surcharge from $.07 per switched access line to $0.17 per switched access line. Preliminary approval granted by the Hawaii Public Utilities Commission (PUC).

Provided support for new Internet based information management products offered by GTE Enterprise Solutions including business case preparation, pricing and operational process flow planning.Developed revenue, expense and capital budgets for newly deployed products and services. Ensured the integrity of all accounting data booked to GTE Enterprise Solutions including revenues, payroll, accounts payable, billing and balance sheet account reconciliations.Prepared and presented the monthly “Operations Review” package summarizing all financial results to GTE Enterprise Solutions executive management.

Provided revenue financial support for GTE’s Business Voice and customer premise equipment products.Developed product-level revenue and unit forecasts for the Company’s five-year strategic plan, annual original budget and the monthly revenue outlook.Assisted in the development/maintenance of a robust data extraction mechanism from several diverse reporting systems in to a client-server based Informix database.
