Profile bio

About Imen Jebri (Ph.D)

At five years old, I said goodbye to consistent blood transfusions and hospitalizations. It was the age when I decided I would work in the medical field. Throughout my years of study, I was fascinated by globalization and collaboration, and I wanted to experience science on a global scale. I earned my bachelor's degree in Tunisia, my master's in Belgium, and my PhD in Japan.Balancing a chronic rare disease alongside my studies was challenging, but I thrive on challenges.I have six years of experience in oncology research and three years in aging/senescence research. My diverse research background across three continents led me to my current role as a Global Research Coordinator at Human Life CORD Japan. We work with Mesenchymal Stem Cells derived from the Umbilical Cord—the lifeline between mother and baby—for the treatment of rare diseases and aging-related diseases. My role involves basic research, clinical trials, and assisting in the global expansion strategy of the company. If you're interested in our technology and would like to collaborate, feel free to send me a message and connect.Hobbies: Cameras, drones, photo/video editing, entrepreneurship, and connecting with people.Favorite quote: "If you want to lift yourself up, lift up someone else." — Booker T. Washington
