Senior Software Engineer Lead - Caa Build TeamMotorola Mobility (A Lenovo Company) Jun 2004 - Aug 2007Chicago, Illinois, UsThe CAA Build Team provided the baseline builds for all P2K based phones such as the Razr, Rokr, and various E and V series mobile phones (the flagship products at the time). This was my first job out of college. I was hired into a fledgling team that was created to streamline the build and release process within Motorola Mobility. I started out by owning the release of a few product lines and eventually owned the baseline build from which all other builds were cut. I created tools to automate the build and release process. As the team grew, I took on the role as a lead engineer on the team. To on-board new talent, I initiated a training process, created training plans, and trained engineers on relevant build procedures and tools in various parts of the world. I also traveled to Italy and India to stand up their build and release teams.
