Reporting to Deputy GM, I have been instrumental in helping the business navigate the complexities of the Security of Critical Infrastructure Act (SOCI) and the Australian Energy Sector Cyber Security Framework (AESCSF). My role has been pivotal in ensuring compliance across all facets of our technology environments, ranging from corporate IT to operational technology stacks at wind and solar farms. I serve as the main technology liaison for the business in discussions with third-party advisory and legal firms and engaging outsourced support from operators and contractors to ensure the integrity of our systems. This role represents a greenfield opportunity, as the company had no internal IT staff before my arrival. My work is not only shaping the technological posture of our organisation but also contributing to the security and sustainability of Australia’s energy sector.

Reported to CEO and held a key role with international oversight. I provided strategic guidance to a team of five direct reports across various regional IT units. I was actively involved in and led numerous global projects, utilising my expertise to drive transformative initiatives through comprehensive analysis, insightful business understanding, and progressive strategies. Furthermore, I was instrumental in the organisation’s Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) activities, ensuring the achievement of extensive synergies throughout.
