Worked part-time when I was with the city of Hamilton Public Works. Popular restaurant in the downtown area, fast-paced which kept me on my toes. Maintained the smooth flow of orders from kitchen to table and the supply of clean cutlery, plates, and bowls.

Dedicated to verifying ownership history of MTO lands adjacent to highways. Primary purpose was to ensure that there weren't parcels of land missing from MTO ownership. Involved the use of AutoCad & ArcGIS. Old surveys were redrawn in AutoCAD then placed in their location on ArcGIS. Multiple parcels were implemented into ArcGIS in this way. In this way, a powerful tool was created for assessing ownership of MTO lands.

Started as Rod man (boy), became Party Chief for last 4 months of experience. This was Co-op experience, work terms interspersed with study terms. Responsible for set-up of job sites and ensuring quality work. As Party Chief I was responsible for entire field work aspect of a project. Typical project involved surveying for topographic, construction, and as-built purposes. This meant taking a new build from preliminary to finished stage. Did work for foundation laying, which required high levels of precision.
