PYP Proyectos, a Colombian company specializing in structural design, sought to enhance its capabilities through technological tools. My partner and I contributed to two key areas: engineering tools and administrative tools.-Engineering Tools:Developed SDAS (Structural Drawing Assistance Services), a C# plug-in for Excel and AutoCAD, automating the parametrized drawing of structural elements. Initially focused on reinforced concrete walls for industrialized building systems.-Administrative Tools:Created Nebula, a Next.js web app, to manage the human resources of the company's BIM modelers, aligning tasks with various structural projects.

Collaborated in the development of new implementations in a fin-tech project to facilitate the management of investment accounts, communication, and rapprochement between investor and client- Took care of the implementation of End to End tests over the main site, using Playwright and Jest.- There were updates in the backend that were developed along with their respective tests using RSpec- Did an extensive work building a new front-end application with React, Router, Context and MaterialUI. The aim of the app was to help new users get onboarded with the site and automate some processes such as personal information submission, identity verification, and documents signature.Stack: -React -Ruby on rails -RSpec -mysql -TypeScript -MaterialUI -formik -Playwright

As a research assistant in the structures and seismic research group, I collaborated on processing and analyzing data obtained from experiments on various specimens of fiber-reinforced walls, as well as structural projects that contributed to building a database. This database was crucial for conducting specific analyses on structural designs. Additionally, it was during this experience that I had my initial exposure to the programming world, developing VBA macros to support and streamline work in Excel.
