I have been working in mental health since qualifying as a social worker in 2020. Working as a Clinical Case Manager in an Early Intervention team, I specialise in first-episode psychosis.This role has refined many transferable skills including organisational skills, leadership roles in a multi-disciplinary team, communication skills, active listening, risk management and providing a person-centred approach within my practice.During this role, I have effectively managed others through supervision and delegation whilst ensuring high-quality practice and being able to motivate others. This was all achieved through fostering a therapeutic environment where my colleagues felt safe and supported.Working in highly unpredictable and pressured environments has enhanced my resilience and composure within stressful situations.
