I currently am studying towards a Physics PhD at the University of Bristol, where I am researching the use of large-scale quantum photonics for simulating particle physics in the Quantum Engineering Technologies Laboratories. I have recently graduated from Durham University with a 1st Class Honours MSci degree in Natural Sciences, specialising in Physics. My master's project focused on investigating the use of spatial light modulation in optical tweezer set-ups, and I take a keen interest in quantum, optical and particle physics. Throughout my degree, I also studied History and Philosophy of Science and Medicine. Outside of my studies, I'm a keen programmer and am continually developing my skills here too, as well as always enjoying problem-solving and new challenges. I'm a STEMinist and advocate for equality and diversity within science, and firmly believe that science should be accessible to all, regardless of gender, race, sexual orientation or background.
