My role was to manage and promote online events for first year students, living in halls of residence.This involved creating campaigns and content for social media, creating a social media schedule, producing and sending weekly newsletters and email campaigns and being the key point of contact for students via social media.

My role involved working on corporate events for Higher Education Associations, this mainly included managing sponsorships for conferences and exhibitions.As the main contact for sponsors I created sponsorship documents, marketed events and pitched to potential sponsors, created and managed event websites, co-ordinated with confirmed sponsors pre-event, including taking payments, managing sponsorship items and print work, to ensure all sponsors had the agreed coverage. I was also the on-site point of contact for sponsors and continued to liaise with them post-event for their feedback and to maintain a strong relationship for future events.My role also involved updating budgets and final accounts, client and supplier liaison, creating and managing event websites and proof-reading event materials prior to print deadlines.

Ashby-De-La-Zouch

I returned to AME to help assist with several events prior to members of the team going onsite, this included cross checking delegate information was correct, packing event suitcases, updating the event websites, updating the hotels, creating signage and training a new member of staff.

My job role included supporting Project Managers on large national and international events and led to me project managing my own events. My role included delegate management, client liaison, completing budgets and final accounts, contract management, supplier and DMC liaison and building and managing event websites, using Lanyon and CVENT. I worked onsite in Barcelona, Lisbon, Amsterdam and London for events during my placement.
