Currently studying my fourth year at the University of Newcastle majoring in Marketing and Economics, graduating December 2024. What I have learnt through studying marketing, has combined with my real-world experiences with products and sales to help me understand the relationship between this and marketing.Having worked in the retail industry, I have gained an acute understanding of how marketing can connect with people and how it can make people feel as though they can relate to the product. My experience in this industry makes me not only appreciate the value of marketing but understand the importance of it and drives me want to bring my own ideas and influence on marketing products in the future. My current role at Pillow Talk has allowed me to watch and learn how Pillow Talk markets themselves as a brand and their products, aspiring myself to pursue this career. I have seen what type of marketing people relate to, and I have seen what it takes to appeal to diverse target markets.My roles at both Pillow Talk and Franky & Co have enabled my customer service, communication, teamwork, problem solving, attention to detail, multitasking, and flexibility skills to improve and grow continuously.
