My husband Al and I are passionate about creating functional and aesthetic pieces.Throughout my experience I have developed a unique design style that focuses on simplicity and functionality. My designs are inspired by how we live day-to-day and are created with the intention of bringing joy, comfort and convenience to people's lives.As the owner of AL + IMO, I have successfully built a brand that offers a range of high-quality furniture pieces mainly focusing on bedroom furniture with smart storage solutions. Our pieces are made from sustainable and locally sourced materials, and are designed to last a lifetime.I am passionate about making design accessible to everyone, and I believe that good design can make a real difference in people's lives. Our motto is Good Design for Good People.We know that when a customer invests in a handmade piece of furniture they’re less likely to throw it away. It’s our mission to see more custom furniture in people’s homes across the world and less crap in landfill. Rather than expanding and producing more furniture ourselves, we knew we could have more impact globally if we use our skills to help other makers successfully run their businesses.
