Assisting in the conduction of ecological surveys on behalf of one of the biggest ecological consultancy’s in the UK.

I worked with vervet monkeys (Cercopithecus pygerythrus) as an intern in two areas: Sick Bay and as section staff caring for ~200 monkeys. Duties involved monitoring, the feeding of special care patients and the cleaning of their cages, and administering medication. In addition 2022-2023’s orphaned babies were nurtured and introduced to new mothers / troops.

I resolved IT issues with customer accounts. As the first green energy company in the world ever established, it was extremely interesting learning about the history and future of sustainable energy, particularly its impact on wildlife.

Worked as a member of the facilities team as the IT specialist creating education content for the Condeco project in the form of instructional videos and documents. Educated 800~ employees including my entire department. Learned to code the software and created data reports for senior management to review.

I collected over 2000 focal/scan sample of two troops of long-tailed macaque (Macaca fascicularis) with focus on interspecific kleptoparasitism in Singapore. I determined the ID of 55 individuals for NParks and the Jane Goodall Institute. I organized and processed this data myself as a master’s student at Oxford Brookes for my dissertation. This showing skills of independent learning, time management, and dedication to the field of conservation.
