As Treasurer of NAFEA, it is my responsibility to manage the association's finances. As a part of this, I regularly attend Executive Committee meetings, working with a number of committee members to assist in the smooth running of the association. In this role, I am responsible for the payment of funds in the way of scholarships for rural placements to students, and research grants to support work integrated learning administrators, students and industry partners.

I commenced my role within the WILS team as a HEW4, largely providing administrative assistance and support to stakeholders in all matters relating to Nursing placements. My ability quickly allowed me to successfully transition into the role of HEW5 in the Allied Health WILS team on a full time basis.Within this HEW5 role, I am responsible for the placement and management of large cohorts for three disciplines. I am the main contact and administrator for the placement of these students, including management of invoicing and contract management. I work diligently to resolve all routine issues through appropriate communication and negotiation with academic staff, students, external agencies and colleagues to best suit all party’s requirements. The role demands a strong ability to shift focus at short notice, to be flexible and to be able to adjust my work styles to compliment all other staff members I work directly with.

 Assisting to determine student’s suitability to apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) applications (including Credit Transfers) Compliance checking and resulting units via the Result Request tab and Learning Management System (MyCA) Entrusted by management to assist in the development and coaching of staff members within team Evaluating potential amendments to course structures for Substitute Unit Transfers (SUT), taking into consideration training package requirements Guiding students through the Credit Transfer and RPL process to completion Generating and issuing student awards Preparing applications to be forwarded on to qualified trainers for assessment Processing of Enrolments, Cancellations, Suspensions and Suspension Reactivations Providing information relating to enrolments to students  Report generation to assist Team Leader in Staff Performance Management and general weekly statistics for the Resulting Team Student Management System data entry (CASIS) Working collaboratively with trainers to assist in the resulting of students
