Since graduating from Popular Music at Goldsmiths, I have worked in many creative-focussed environments in roles involving advocacy and campaign work, programme management, fundraising, digital communications, venue work and as a solo artist and musician. As a young, northern, female artist with a wealth of experience in the music industry, music education and associated charities, I am extremely passionate about representation and accessibility within all areas of music and the early encouragement and support of young musicians across the UK. For 3 years I had the privilege of sitting as one of the first U25 directors on the board of The Ivors Academy and co-founded and co-chaired their Youth Council, I have since been re-elected back to the Board and serve as deputy chair of their Song Writing council. Music should not be an elitist and ableist game and I remain focussed on access and the importance of music throughout all my endeavours.
