The trusting relationships I built with residents was the highlight of my employment at Castlemaine Health and they have reinforced my decision to build a career in healthcare.

During this role, I completed a number of small projects including (but not limited to) a study of roads and properties affected by flooding in Castlemaine and Marong, and a flood risk assessment of Murrabit.I also assisted my team by taking on some statutory functions work, which involved responding to planning permit applications and flood information requests.I also learnt how to use HEC-RAS to run flood models and improve the information held by the NCCMA to better prepare the region for flood events.
