My aim was to drive sales through content - both across social media platforms and on the website. I produced video campaigns and lookbooks, created blog posts, set up Pop Up shops, and introduced a Made To Be Worn interview YouTube series.

Writing press releases, researching new markets, optimising SEO on website, commissioning creatives to produce social media content and constructing an influencer strategy to help growth within market.

My task was to assist in writing the company’s press release for their launch of ‘Brexit Biscuits’, along with writing sections of their website.

Along with assisting in the shop and doing fashion research, I was employed to rewrite the new website for a relaunch and assist writing the press release that would follow the shop’s transformation and rebranding.

I worked alongside founder Daisy Knatchbull prior to the launch of her brand doing a multitude of jobs ranging from creating mood-boards for her campaign and running her social media, to finding press contacts and relevant ambassadors for The Deck once it launched.

My role as Editorial Assistant led me to work close by the Editor-in-Chief by creating content for both print and digital platforms; in terms of feature articles regarding both fashion, travel and decor. Running the social media for the magazine was another role I was included to help in, which taught me the importance of interacting with your audience. Moreover, I was often tasked with transcribing interviews for the print publication. I was given the opportunity to attend London Fashion Week and write show reviews for digital content, as well as report on Milan, New York and Paris.

My role as a freelance journalist at Blanc taught me the importance of running on a tight schedule when producing articles for their online portfolio - especially as the publication is based in New York. I was tasked to attend Men's Fashion Week in London on behalf of the publication and to produce content for their social media feeds, as well as write show reviews. This was an invaluable experience as communication and organisation were two of the main characteristics I had to showcase here.

Working at such a prestigious Savile Row tailors taught me invaluable knowledge on not just only fabrics, cuts and tailoring but also built my foundation on how to interact with high profile clients. My experience mainly dealt with customers and helping them to create their ideal suit, however I was also taught to how to deal finances in Microsoft Excel. Moreover, my internship led to me editing their website’s content.
