I have been working in the mortgage and lending industry in various capacities since 2003, and joined the BECU family in 2017. My lending background is focused on home purchases, especially for first time homebuyers. I've taught classes through the Washington State Housing Finance Commission and currently teach homebuyer classes through BECU. I have a passion for helping our members throughout the entire mortgage process, and have vast knowledge about Conventional, VA, and FHA financing programs.Although I serve our credit union membership throughout Washington, my primary focus covers King, Pierce, and Snohomish counties. I work with many types of borrowers including first time homebuyers, members relocating, and those looking to refinance. I have a passion for helping our members throughout the entire mortgage process, and make myself available to answer all pertinent questions involved in financing a home. Whether it is discussing down payment options for a first time homebuyer or reviewing mortgage rates on our mortgage calculator, I want to make sure our members feel they have the knowledge and the confidence to purchase or refinance their home.I am a true Seattle native, having grown up in Madrona. My wife and I currently live in Lake Stevens where we are doing our best to raise three children. I enjoy playing soccer, sailing, and travelling with family.
