About Paul Wakefield

"I Support & Educate Young People to Overcome Anxiety"A few years ago, I had a realisation that changed everything for me.I was volunteering in my community, working with children who struggled with anxiety, stress, and the pressures of everyday life. Their struggles reminded me of my own journey—especially my first panic attack at 21, which led me to years of therapy and eventually a passion for mindfulness and wellness.I couldn’t shake the thought: What if kids were taught these skills earlier in life? How much pain and confusion could we help them avoid? That’s when the idea for Wellness for Children (WfC) was born. What We DoAt Wellness for Children, our mission is simple but powerful: to help children and teens thrive emotionally, mentally, and physically. We specialize in creating mindfulness and wellness resources that teach kids how to manage anxiety, build confidence, and navigate life’s challenges. Whether it’s through our Mindful Mornings book, gratitude journals, or engaging mindfulness coloring books, we aim to provide tools that make a real difference. What People Are Saying💬 “I’ve noticed such a change in my daughter since we started using the Mindful Mornings book. Introducing Wellness for ChildrenWhen I was 21, I had my first panic attack. It was so severe that it caused a lack of oxygen to my brain, and I collapsed. For 40 seconds, I was clinically dead.Luckily, I survived. But that moment changed my life forever. I spent the next 4.5 years in counselling, learning how to manage anxiety and rebuild my life. Those years of self-discovery led me to a new purpose: to help others facing similar struggles. I became a wellness professional, a certified life coach, and a wellbeing practitioner specializing in anxiety disorders.Fast forward to today, and that journey has come full circle with the launch of Wellness for Children. Why I Started WfCAfter working voluntarily with children and teens for over 20 years, I saw first-hand the growing struggles they face with anxiety and mental health. I wanted to do more than just help on a case-by-case basis—I wanted to create something lasting, something that could make a real impact. That’s when I created Mindful Mornings, a program designed to educate children and teens about wellness and mindfulness. I delivered this course to hundreds of children for free, watching it transform lives. When the time came to take it further, I launched Wellness for Children. What We DoWfC specializes in helping children and teens reduce anxiety levels by teaching them wellness and mindfulness techniques. We provide tools that empower them to navigate life with confidence, resilience, and clarity. This isn’t just a business for me—it’s a mission rooted in my own experience and driven by a desire to make a difference. If you’re passionate about helping young people thrive, I’d love to connect. Let’s work together to create a brighter future for our children.#WellnessForChildren #Mindfulness #MentalHealth #AnxietySupport #HelpingChildrenThrive #MindfulMornings

Introducing My Blog and Why I Do ItLet me take you behind the scenes of something deeply personal to me: my blog at www.paulwakefield.uk.When I first started blogging, I wasn’t trying to build an audience or even create something “successful.” I started it for me. Life has its ups and downs, and writing became my way of processing it all. It gave me clarity, helped me let go of stress, and allowed me to organize my thoughts.Truth is, my blog has become my happy place. Here’s Why I Do It 1. It Helps My Mental HealthThere’s something incredibly healing about putting pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard). It’s my way of slowing down, reflecting, and finding balance. On tough days, writing has been my outlet—a private therapy session in many ways. 2. It Makes Me a Better WriterWriting consistently has sharpened my skills. Whether it’s a personal story, a lesson I’ve learned, or a professional insight, each post teaches me something new about communication. It’s a skill I’m constantly improving, and my blog is the best place to practice. 3. It Allows Me to Share StoriesI’ve always believed stories connect us in ways nothing else can. Through my blog, I get to share moments of my life, lessons I’ve learned, and ideas that might inspire or resonate with others.I started my blog for me, but over time, it’s become so much more. It’s a space where I can create, connect, and grow. If you’ve ever thought about starting a blog or journaling, I can’t recommend it enough. It’s not about perfection or how many people read it—it’s about what it gives you.So, if you’re curious, feel free to visit: www.paulwakefield.uk. I’d love for you to stop by and explore the stories that matter to me.What’s your happy place? Let me know in the comments.#Blogging #MentalHealth #Storytelling #SelfGrowth #WritingJourney #PersonalDevelopment
