Edly is a brand by Arbisoft and is the largest and amongst the earliest technology and service partners for Open edX. Based on this experience, Edly has been able to build its own very popular product, also called 'Edly', and provides top-notch Open edX services to external partners as well. My primary responsibilities include:-Supervising the company’s daily business operations-Leading key initiatives-Implementing company-wide strategies.

My overall responsibilities include•Planning and defining the scope of a project•Working with game and UI designers to create GDDs•Estimating work effort and resource requirements•Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documents•Creating new and engaging content for content-based applications•Managing a variety of different teams like designers, developers, artists, animators, and QA engineers•Defining the overall workflow/activity, and deliverable schedules for projects•Assign tasks and responsibilities on a day-to-day/weekly basis•Planning and monitoring the overall progress of a project•Monitoring the use of resources, initiating corrective action where necessary•Keeping the team highly motivated•Addressing roadblocks and red flags•Initiate remedial actions/corrective measures when necessary•Update all stakeholders with accurate progress reportsMajor projects managed:•HueManIt is an educational app targeted toward kids, in the 2-5 years range. The app is focused on inculcating a sense of empathy in children at a young age via a learning path that we've curated for them. I have a diverse team of people that I’m managing and leading on this project including developers, designers, writers, character modelers, 3D environment modelers, animators, video editors, and 2D concept artists.•Snake Block Multiplayer for Joyride with Kiwi, Inc.Successfully managed and oversaw the development of a multiplayer version for the very popular Snake Block game on Joyride's platform.•Connect 4 for Joyride with Kiwi, Inc.Worked on a mini-game to be featured within the Joyride platform. I managed the design, development, art direction, testing of this app until the RC build was submitted to the client•Quiz Wiz with Telenor PakistanSuccessfully pitched and designed a multiplayer Trivia-based app for the local market. Managed a team of artists and developers to create the final product

•Having previously worked a Senior Content Designer on one of Pocket Gem's earliest successful titles, 'Tap Paradise Cove', I was tasked with leading a team of content designers and a QA team as Pocket Gems began to transition all Live Ops, Production, and QA related activities for Tap Paradise Cove to we.R.play•I successfully managed to take over the Live Ops for "Tap Paradise Cove" and also created an effective and streamlined method of managing Live Ops for the different teams and individuals working on this title at we.R.play•In my new role, I was able to fine-tune my communication (client and team both), leadership, delegation, motivation, planning, and training skills•From a purely game design perspective, I got a considerable insight into the inner workings of a good game design, which included content, story writing/dialogue, economy handling/balancing, monetization, user and community feedback•Not only did I work on Tap Paradise Cove, I also created and helped create Game Design Documents (GDDs) for various internal projectsKey achievements during my time as Project Manager/Lead Content Designer for Tap Paradise Cove were•Managed to successfully oversee around 100 production/dcon releases •Approved and edited more than 2000+ quest concepts, quest texts, and art concepts•Coordinated with QA team for the testing of more than 500+ finalized quests•Executive playthroughs/experience testing for almost 2000 quests after final QA pass

•As a Senior Content Designer, I was working on one of Pocket Gem's earliest successful titles, 'Tap Paradise Cove'.•'Tap Paradise Cove' was a city-building, social game where users were tasked with creating their version of a magical tropical island and it was consistently in the top-grossing apps on iOS for more than 70 weeksKey achievements during my time as Senior Content Designer for Tap Paradise Cove were•Coming up with and formulating than 300+ game quests/events•Text and story writing for 400+ quests/events/ game dialogue, character conversation, and storytelling•Coming up with 500+ innovative art concepts•Manipulating the game servers and csvs to implement 250+ game quests (Art, text, animations etc.)

•Worked with Telenor and PTCL at their headquarters in Islamabad on Huawei's CBS (Convergent Billing Solution) and OCS (Online Charging System) projects as part of the Huawei Vendor Team•Automated the system using scripts on the Unix Platform(s)•Conducting daily operational tasks such as generating CPB (Convergent Billing Point) CPU and CAPS stats, health checks, log extraction, CBS System monitoring, executing batches and running WSDL/Web Services•Worked on and fixed various network issues

•Worked closely with Dell (USA) for the development of applications for fast packet processing applications using Intel's data plane development kit (DPDK)•Automation of cloud environment using different tools such as Ansible and Chef•Creating different Virtual Network Functions (VNFs) such as an MME Proxy•Experience with switches and their functionality
