 To conduct Joint Visits with UNFAO team to identify the villages of Disaster affected Union Councils. Lead the team to conduct the base line survey in targeted areas. Analyze the base line survey and share with the Project Manager.  Lead the team to form the VDMC/UCDM/VERT /UCRF in targeted areas. Coordinate with the social welfare department and get registration of UCDM/ UCRF.  Support and facilitate to VDMCs and UCRFs in the prioritization of infrastructure in targeted areas.  Lead the team to organize the trainings at village level on First aid, Fire Fighting, Search and Rescue. Organize two days training of Opinion/ Religious leaders on CBDRM. Lead the team to developed Village / Union Council Disaster Management plans. Translate Village / Union Council Disaster Management plans in local language and Hanover to VDMC/UCDMC. Setting up early warning system in targeted villages.  Translate Training manuals from English to Sindhi. Develop training plans for VDMC and UCDMC on Leadership, First Aid, Firefighting, and Search & Rescue. Design IEC material on WASH /DRR/ SERT Coordinate with the Health, Education, Agriculture, Social Welfare and line departments.  Lead the team to form the School emergency Response Teams (SERT) in higher secondary schools. Lead the team to train the students on Fire Fighting, Search and Rescue. Lead the team to identify the PWD’s for registration from Social welfare, Health and NADRA department. Celebrate WASH and DRR days with Students.  Develop events report and share with Project Manager. Develop Weekly .Monthly and Quarterly reports. Develop Weekly .Monthly and Quarterly work plan to complete activities as per DIP. Participate in the Quarterly review meeting.

 Lead the hygiene promotion team to conduct the base line survey in order to identify hygiene and sanitation practices and WASH related health risk in targeted communities.  Analyzing the baseline study data to determine the underlining needs of the Communities.  Facilitate the team to form the 30 village development committee/ water & sanitation committees. Design the contents of WASH committee and lead the team to enhance the capacity of the Water sanitation committee (WSC’s).  Lead the field team to use the PRA tool and ensure the maximum participation of community for village development plan (VDP). Design the assessment format and supervised the field team to identify the beneficiaries for latrine and as well as locations of the new & repair hand pumps. Support the project Manager to design the MOU for WASH committee in local language. Sign the MOU with the VDC, Water & Sanitation committee (WSC) & Land owner for latrine construction and new / repair hand pump installation. Assist the field team to encourage the community in need identification, planning ,implementation And monitoring of WASH activities. Design the culturally acceptable IEC material and context on good hygiene practices on (Hand washing, Diarrhea, personnel Hygiene, Domestic Hygiene, Environment Hygiene). Integrate the WASH activities with other components of Food Security livelihood, DRR and Advocacy.  Closely coordination with the vendor and ensure to complete the work before the dead line. Plan Monitoring to check the quality of hand pump machines & accessories as per specification. Support the Project Manager to manage the budget and raised the purchase request (PR) Managing budget and project staff and regular monitoring and tracking of activity. Closely work the logistic/ procurement department for material delivery in the field. Build the strong relation with the community and govt: departments.

 Attend the WASH clusters meetings organized by the UN-OCHA and share the organization project activities progress. Coordinate with the Taluka Municipal Officer and Sign the MOU to install the water treatment unit at water supply stations of District Badin. Coordinate with the District Education Officer (DEO) and get the data of schools for de- watering.  Conduct the meeting with the Town Municipal Officer (TMA’s) to get the heavy water pumps For the de-watering activities in the respective towns and villages. Coordinate with the logistic department of all procedure to close the water treatment units (WTU) and ensure safe packing and its storage. Coordinate and Sign the MOU with the partners (LHDP, NRSP, PFF, HANDS) for water tinkering. Design the contents of Hygiene promotion sessions and trained the field team. Design the IEC material on personal, Domestic and environment hygiene. Lead the Hygiene promotion team to sensitize the IDP’’s to wash the hands after using the latrines. Lead the team to conduct the session on safe drinking water and mobilize the community to Fetch the water from HI water distribution distribution points. Conducted the assessment for Non-Food items in the targeted villages and plan to distribute the WASH kits. Support the Project Manager in short listing of candidate and participate in the recruitment process. Compile the weekly and Monthly reports. Monitor the field activities of three team leader’s (Hygiene promotion, De-Watering & Water treatment Unit). Coordinate with the finance department and submit the financial requirement on time and submit the bills. Lead the team to conducted water Survey of 300 households and analyzed the water survey data in SPSS software.
