A highly enthusiastic and motivated individual who endures a challenge. After graduating from De Montfort University within Accounting and Finance and looked to enhance my degree by studying ACCA which I am currently part qualified within.Alongside studying and working I have co-founded 2 start up businesses which is where a real passion of mines lies. I have been raised in a family of entrepreneur and I really thrive in running a business.The first business was a family business which I helped establish when I was 19 (2015) at this early stage in my life I was still studying which allowed me to put into practice what I was theoretically learning. It was definitely a learning curve but allowed me to broaden my horizons and further my skills. Managing day to day tasks and a team of employees allowed me to experience leadership skills from a young age. Whilst also general business practice gave me an amazing insight and opportunity in the business world.The second business being the most recent was established whilst I was working in October 2019, a vegan cosmetics company. Again a family business which I set up with my sister who had gained a degree in Pharmaceutical Cosmetics Science. With her I saw an opportunity and a gap in the market to establish a new vegan cosmetics brand. I have been learning ever since from registering a trade mark to working with suppliers to setting up a e-commerce website. It’s all been very eye opening and I am still learning each and everyday which is definitely building my key skills which I implement into everyday life.Whilst studying for my ACCA qualification and running businesses I have been working in an energy company in various roles. I have gained invaluable experience whilst under my employment here and my current role as a debt collection lead has helped me build confidence in leading and working with different entities. Starting out as a credit specialist and working my way up has allowed me to expand my capabilities and enjoy challenges.
