Result of an internal promotion, as the Director of Operations for the MEIA Sales region, responsible for providing strategic guidance and leadership to the Customer Service, Internal Sales, Logistics, Warehousing and Technical teams with a total of 9 staff, managed through 3 direct reports (reduced from 15 following the Pandemic induced restructure). Reporting directly to the Vice President MEIA Sales, a member of the senior leadership team, accountable for developing and leading the implementation of an operations business plan, optimising performance and productivity of global customer success.Providing subject matter expertise and counsel to the sales and marketing teams, and executing the business strategy and product solutions to drive growth. Leading the team to grow business in line with budgetary goals. Overseeing sales and revenue forecasts and spearheading organisational development, with continuous process improvement and ensuring customer satisfaction targets are exceeded.

Responsible for providing strategic guidance and leadership to the Customer Service, Internal Sales, Logistics, Warehousing and Technical teams.

Collaborated with the Operations Director with an overall responsibility of managing the complete operations including planning, stock management, product quality, bid management, reporting and financial control for the Organisation bought by Zumtobel. Provided strategic guidance and leadership to a team of 12 through 4 direct reports, responsible for day-to-day management, recruitment and performance management.A senior member of the leadership team provided tactical guidance and direction to the business. Completely accountable for maximising the P&L and turnover through BI reporting, margin analysis, cost reduction plans and managing the order book. Project managing key lighting exhibitions in Frankfurt – responsible for the complete project from Marketing through to Installation onto the exhibition stand.

Responsible for managing the Project Control System within the Typhoon Final Assembly and the Major Units Business including Earned Value Management, Risk and Opportunity Management, Resource Management and the Contract Status Review. Managed contracts with a value from GBP100m to GBP400m.

Responsible for planning and utilizing resource in an outsourced environment, ensuring all contractual criteria are adhered to and in line with the strategic vision of the business. Accountable for reporting centre performance to Senior Managers and suggesting corrective measures where required.

Responsible for maintaining effective resource utilisation across 4 premier customer service sites within a Call Centre environment.
