Over my 15 years of playing baseball including at the University Level at UBC, I have learned that there is a huge overlap between the principles it takes to be successful in sport as well as other aspects of life. My competitive nature, teamwork, and leadership skills have arisen through playing baseball and lead me to learn a lot about time management and being able to balance sport and academics. Currently, I am working towards accomplishing a new goal of pursuing a career in medicine. I am passionate about furthering my knowledge about the human body and look forward to learning new skills while completing my Biomedical Physiology degree at Simon Fraser University.
