Responsibilities• Commercial lead for the Retail part of the Business• Management of a range of Construction, Installation and IT integration contracts• Contract operational performance management and remedy• Lead developer of a non IT specific Contract Assurance framework, and SRM advocate• Ownership of c. £50m pa contract value – successful commercial / operational delivery. Contractors include, Amey/Enterprise, Daniel, H2O, Siemens, IBM, Accenture, VodafoneSignificant Achievements• During the final year of role, in year savings of £3.6m realised• £180m Contract award made for an installation and construction contract• Development of a successful SRM methodology, including Top 50 supplier scoring• Implementation of suitable incentive and deduction mechanisms, e.g. target cost• Consistent and excellent feedback from stakeholders within the business, in particular budget owners within Retail and service owners within IT

Responsible for:• Manage the KPI reporting process from collation through to presentation to the asset owner. • Manage the contract variation process, including negotiation of desired outcomes• Produce and manage recovery plans to mitigate performance shortfalls • Improve client satisfaction whilst attempting to maximise a potential £500k revenue for over-performance, and minimising potential £1m loss for under-performance• Liaising with the industry regulator OFGEM via regulatory quarterly returnsUpon continued successful delivery of the above, the role was further expanded to manage the £3.2m Facilities and Property Management budget for the business. Under an environment of OPEX restrictions I worked to significantly reduce annual spend by changing some processes to realise 20% savings. The role allowed me to lead on the procurement of contracts with suppliers such as G4 Securicor, BT, Orange, Vodafone, British Gas and NPower.
