CurrentDuties/Responsibilities:- IT Support: Deliver comprehensive technical support to personnel, addressing hardware and software issues across a range of technologies including Cisco switches, Windows servers, Synology NAS Server, MikroTik routers, CCTV systems, Office 365, Teams, and antivirus software.- System Maintenance: Maintain optimal performance of IT infrastructure, ensuring network, server, and desktop environments are fully operational.- Oversee critical IT operations, such… Show more Duties/Responsibilities:- IT Support: Deliver comprehensive technical support to personnel, addressing hardware and software issues across a range of technologies including Cisco switches, Windows servers, Synology NAS Server, MikroTik routers, CCTV systems, Office 365, Teams, and antivirus software.- System Maintenance: Maintain optimal performance of IT infrastructure, ensuring network, server, and desktop environments are fully operational.- Oversee critical IT operations, such as operating systems, security tools, applications, email systems, as well as laptop and desktop hardware.- Manage IT asset inventory and vendor relations.- Install and configure hardware peripherals, including disk drives, printers, keyboards, and monitors.- Advise on and execute PC, hardware, and peripheral equipment enhancements, upgrades, and repairs.- Troubleshoot PC and laptop issues, manage ticket resolutions, and monitor problems using the Remedy system or other helpdesk platforms.- Offer remote support to end-users for hardware and software issues, and coordinate technical resources for on-site assistance when necessary.- Data Management: Design and administer systems to safeguard data integrity and security.- Training: Conduct training sessions for staff on emerging technologies and systems to enhance their proficiency and job performance.- Vendor Management: Engage with vendors and suppliers to secure the best value and service for the organization.- Policy Development: Formulate and implement IT policies and procedures to align with industry best practices.- Disaster Recovery Planning: Create and enforce disaster recovery strategies to ensure organizational resilience in the face of system disruptions.- Budgeting: Contribute to the IT budget planning process and oversee spending to ensure fiscal responsibility.- Reporting: Compile and present detailed reports on IT operations for auditing purposes and to inform senior management decisions Show less
