With more than 576 licensed beds, AGH is AHN's largest and highest-volume hospital and a level 1 trauma hospital . AGH has recently invested in a new orthopaedic center, a new cardiovascular intensive care unit, a new cardiac MRI center, new hybrid operating rooms, an ambulatory surgery center, a state of the art GI lab/endoscopy center, a new clinical decision unit, a new academic cancer center, a genomics and personalized/precision medicine lab within the core pathology lab, innovative disruptive technologies for radiation therapy for cancer patients (GammaPod, GammaKnife, MRI Linac), and some of the world's most technologically advanced surgical robots.

-- Led improvement of AGH and AHN overall quality and safety ratings that have resulted in significant improvement in CMS STAR ratings and national quality surveys.-- Responsible for all clinical care delivered at AGH a 576-bed acute care teaching hospital-- Charged with focusing operation and culture to patient centered care-- Responsible for quality and patient safety; regulatory and compliance, community relations, capacity, flow throughput issues, population health strategy and system integration-- Through these above initiatives, tasked with developing a physician lead organization culture and lead a strategic growth for the ~1500 active physicians-- Worked with key stakeholders and Horty Springer to revise AHN Bylaws and AGH Rules and Regulation to meet regulatory, compliance and legal standards -- Helped write AGH peer review policy and established best practices for peer process and redesigned peer review committee-- Helped write practioner health policy -- Physician lead for patient experience and service recovery-- Worked closely with patient safety and regulatory to address complaints and grievances -- Led coding and documentation improvement which resulted in increased CMI, higher reimbursement, improvement in mortality and readmission index -- Established process for general inpatient hospice admission to improve quality and patient experience for end of life patients -- Played an integral role in geographic alignment of medical and surgical specialties to improve care delivery, quality, employee engagement and experience -- Worked with network leads in addressing social determinants of health -- Received “Friend of Nursing Award” in 2021
