As Head of Infrastructure, I was responsible for overseeing and securing the company’s network infrastructure across five countries: Guatemala (main office), El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama. My key responsibilities included:- Network and Security Management: Managed the corporate network using Fortinet and Sophos firewalls, ensuring data protection and adherence to security protocols across multiple locations.- Communication Systems: Supervised the PBX system, operated through ISABEL, to ensure smooth and stable communication across various branches.- Platform Administration: Administered Google Workspace, ESET antivirus console, and Lansweeper for inventory management and corporate device monitoring, ensuring effective support and control.- Reporting and Monitoring Services: Oversaw Reporting Services and DVRs across all sites, maintaining the integrity and availability of information and surveillance systems.- Licensing and Application Deployment: Managed Microsoft’s licensing console for Office 365 and Power BI and deployed applications through RemoteApp on Microsoft 2016 servers.- Active Directory Management: Administered user permissions and access via Active Directory in Microsoft server environments, ensuring a secure and reliable infrastructure.In this role, I closely collaborated with teams in five countries to optimize IT infrastructure and ensure operational continuity across the region.
