The Role:* To ensure that arrangements for cartage, sea, road, rail or domestic air freight are completed within specific customer service standards.* To assist with the overseeing of the Transport department during the Transport Managers absence or when requested.Objectives:* Provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external clients* Coordinate deliveries in the quickest possible time frames incurring the least expense for all parties concerned* Exceed internal and external expectations* To maintain and update delivery status reports, KPIs as required including any liason with service providers

The Role:* Completing the daily processing of Transport dispatch documents for LCL Auckland metro and LCL out of town deliveries.Objectives:* Provide a high level service of customer service to both internal and external clients* Ensure all work completed by deadlines to guarantee on time deliveries within specific customer service standards* Liaising with internal departments, clients and carriers on a daily basis to maintain positive working relationships and to limit unnecessary delays * To process all Sea/Air freight documentation accurately and within agreed time frames.Being new to the Freight industry and starting in the Transport department at Kuehne + Nagel was a great kickstart to my career in Freight Forwarding as it has given me exposure to all departments in the company and allowed me to develop a well rounded knowledge of the process and systems.
