About Inacio Guambe

Enthusiastic and business minded professional with master's degree in Petroleum Geoscientist from IFP School in Paris, and MBA from Manipal Academy of Higher Education, India. Bachelor degree in Geology from Eduardo Mondlane University, with national and international work exposure. My professional experience started in 2015, when I was invited by IFREMER and TOTAL to participate on PAMELA MOZ4 Oceanographic Campaign in Mozambique Channel for acquisition of several data such as geophysical, sedimentological and bathymetry data. After I was granted in 2017, a 2 month of Research Fellowship at IFREMER, Centro de Bretagne in Brest, France, supported by IFREMER and TOTAL. Since 2019, joined Schlumberger as Mudlogging Analyst (Field Engineer) in Sub-Saharan Africa, having worked in several oilfields both onshore and offshore in Mozambique and Gabon.I am also an entrepreneur. My areas of interest includes Geosciences, Business Development, Business plan and coordination, investment ideas, management.

I worked with sediment cores:- Sediment Description;- Performed physical and chemical properties using Multi-Sensor Core Logger and XRF Scanner respectively;- Radiography of sediment cores.This Cuise is part of PAMELA Project (Passive Margin Exploration Laboratories), a French consortium with partnership of Ifremer, Total, IFPEN, UBO, University of Rennes 1 and UPMC. My participation was due to a MoU between Ifremer and Faculty of Sciences of Eduardo Mondlane University.
