Current• A National Platform for DRR can be defined as a nationally owned and led coordination mechanism or committee of multiple stakeholders with strong foundation in national institutional frameworks.• The facilitator would be a specific ministry or authority and their National Platform for DRR should possess clearly assigned responsibilities and authority established through laws, regulations, standards and procedures.• The National Platform is responsible for mainstreaming DRR into development policies, planning and programs in line with the implementation of the Sendai Framework.• Ideally it serves as the main mechanism for common national DRR priorities requiring concerted action through a coordinated and participatory process.• It contributes to the national DRR strategy, including national risk and capability assessments, and national DRR reviews and reporting.• It also provides support to the local level, as well as ensure regional and international cooperation and bilateral exchanges as appropriate with nationalcounterparts in other countriesPeople on Board 2018-2021Advisory Board: Suprayoga Hadi (Bappenas), Henny Vidiarina (MPBI), Dodi Ruswandi (BNPB), Harkunti Rahayu (ITB), Heny Warsilah (LIPI), Dr. Asep Karsidi, M.Sc.
