My project is to discover tumor suppressor genes through suppressor screen by engrafting ex-vivo cultured hematopoietic stem cells with 5000 shRNA to rescue a mutant mouse with immunological issues. In addition, RNA sequence analysis has been performed on hematopoietic stem cells to define the transcriptional signature of a mutant mouse with severe hematopoietic attrition.Currently, verification of transcriptional profiling and screened targets to characterize involvement of DNA damage response signaling in NF-kB signaling pathway and immune systems.

I have conducted cutting-edge research in DNA repair mechanisms in relation to hematopoiesis, tumorigenesis and fertility in organisms (human, mouse and yeast) and in multiple types of cells (primary, 3d organoid, mouse stem, mouse germ, cancer cells)My achievements were• Characterized mechanistic insight in human tumors and its synthetic lethality which is now applied to a combination therapy• Determined fertility factors by analyzing male and female germ stem cells • Identified a novel mutation in human gliomas and characterized the function in telomere homeostasis• Generated and characterized mutant mice
