I'm a researcher in the DIGITAL unit of Tecnalia, working at the High Performance Architectures (HPA) Team. My research area is Cloud Computing, with focus on the migration of legacy systems to Cloud at technical, business and process level. SLA monitoring, multi-cloud, cloud service brokering, and software application development and deployment.I work as a DevOps engineer, in the integration and deployments of complex applications in virtual environments, using tools and techniques like GitLab, CI/CD, Docker containers, Kubernetes and Jenkins.My research interests include Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD) and DevOps in its several variants ( DevOps, MLOps, DataOps), User Experience, Mobile Development, Project Management and Agile Methods.

Working in cloud technologies. methodologies and tools to design and develop efficient (performance, availability, security) and effective (QoE, QoS) applications in multi-cloud distributed architectures and with new business models.As a Project Manager reporting to to the unit head, I have worked in European Union funded projects, contracted projects and internal research projects. I' m prepared for:-The proposals preparation for public funded R&D calls, with experience in research project management under the 7th EU Framework Programme. -Managing of collaborative projects -team working, budget control, contacts with clients--Identify innovative solutions and state of the art technologies to provide to the organization the new capabilities.-Financial reporting to the European Commission.-Communication and dissemination activities: preparing leaflets and press releases, hosting visits, organising events and workshops.-Organize project meetings and give presentations in front of public -I also take care of the analysis, design and development of software applications.

My work was to write a software-codec of the JPEG image codification algorithm (yes, the same that is nowadays hw-implemented in every digital camera. I mean, every phone). Written in C on a Sun workstation, it was not really fast, but helped me to understand how the jpeg works, and I learned some ways to optimize the code.

I worked for an academic course, at what was my former school, giving classes in Spanish and Basque languages. I taught mathematics, with varying degrees of success, to young people aged 16-17, who where attending high school and technical education.
