Organized and supervised entire product design for Opera Xchange Interface (OXI); feature content, pricing, and advertising of interfaces between OPERA and third-party suppliers. Advised hotel chains and customer focus groups on IT integration needs. Led team of 12 international software engineers, product specialists, and business analysts. As Product Manager, created first XML-based Opera Xchange Interfaces to external reservation systems TravelCLICK, Trust, Pegasus, Synxis, Passkey, etc. The systems were installed in over 9700 hotels and served as selling points for the Opera Hotel SuiteFormulated more than 20 custom interfaces; created versatile generic systems with comprehensive documentation, serving different customer needs within one product, reducing costs, risks, and integration points.Developed first interfaces for InterContinental Hotel Group’s reservation systems in record time and on budget, paving the way for global Opera Hotel Suite deployment at IHG in close to 5000 hotels.
