I always have loved tutoring and sharing what I know. I believe this is the best way to also learn. In college, I took the opportunity to continue tutoring as I had done in high school. As soon as I had taken enough engineering courses to qualify, I signed up. I tutored students and peers in Continuous Time Signals and Intro to Electrical Engineering courses. As a tutor I organized weekly Help Sessions to provide students with homework help and exam preparations. I graded problem sets and exams as required. I also got to share my hand-on experience while I assisted in weekly lab sessions to support students in lab work, provide procedure guidance for the lab experiments and equipment set up. I really enjoyed being a tutor, and passing on the knowledge I had acquired from taking the courses myself. While being a tutor and continuing to tutor the same courses over the two year period I also learned about different types of learning and improved my technical communication skills. These skills have helped me in my career as I work in different teams of engineers and tune my communication style to my audience.
