It is an initiative of the School of International Futures (SOIF). NGFP members come from various geographies, areas of expertise, and walks of life. What they have in common is exceptional projects and ideas with the potential to shape the future of communities, countries, and sectors.As the communications lead for this program, I oversee communications strategy, key campaigns, content production, website and social media platforms. As part of this work, I get to collaborate with NGFP team members, partners, and network members. I use storytelling to showcase the impact of members' projects and ideas, and to help the team weave the network. Leaning on my facilitation background, I coach and guide hubs within the network to share their own narrative, and tell their own stories. Show less

Through my company Akar, I create communications and digital content strategies, oversee video and written content, and offer workshop development and facilitation for clients in the social impact sector.I also collaborate with colleagues across Canada to offer storytelling and creative writing workshops focused on issues around migration, gender equity, imagination and futures, climate change, and social justice through an intersectional lens.
