I'm a visual media artist specializing in photography creation, manipulation, and organization for both print and digital. Most of my talents have been used for professional marketing purposes but I also pursue personal projects that explore my creativity and stretch my artistic senses. I enjoy taking my own digital photos as well as retouching them. My main photography interests are sporting events, the natural world, and architecture.I'm lucky enough to be a Generation Xer. It means I grew up with one foot in the pre-tech world and one in the ever changing digital world. I was taught from an early age to ask questions, search out solutions for myself, observe and learn from others, and never be afraid of failing. This has served me well as I continually adapt to the technology based world we all now live in. I've learned many things such as early digital photography, desktop publishing, early Scene 7 coding, and beginning Adobe Photoshop on the fly with little to no official classes because none were available at the time. Now when I'm faced with software, a process, or hardware that's new to me I can pick it up and understand it fairly quickly. I'm not intimidated by new things and I'm motivated to solve a problem instead of just saying it didn't do what it was supposed to and wait for someone else to take care of it. I bring the best of both worlds!I like Wausau very much and am not looking to relocate for a position. However I am able to work remotely and commute a fair distance one or two days a week if needed to touch base. I'm also available to travel at any time.
