• As a research assistant at the University of Manitoba, I investigated the unstable flow behavior problem for supercritical flow systems like supercritical water reactor, rocket engines etc. I also assisted and trained.
• Performed experiments to find the flow conditions where unstable flow behavior occurs in supercritical pipe flow - Performed experiments and validated numerical code within 5% error in order to reduce the dependency on.
• Troubleshoot and found root cause analysis for the unsuccessful experiments.
• Calibrated and maintained the lab equipment’s in proper working conditions. Tested the working of flow meters, thermocouples, heat-exchanger, rectifier and pressure-drop transducers.
• Created schematic diagram of experimental loop using CAD software. Used LabVIEW software for recording data and monitoring the safe working of experimental setup.
• Implemented the excel tools to analyze the recorded data in order to obtain the unstable flow boundary.
