Networkers International were a global recruitment company established in 1984. They had 16 offices spanning 5 continents, possessing a diversified business portfolio covering sectors such as; IT, Telecommunications, Engineering, Energy, Public Sector, ERP, Digital Media and Financial Markets which was the area I worked in.Main purpose of my role was to develop new business and provide permanent and contract resources to Investment Banks / Financial Organisation’s around the world.• Helped develop new markets for the company in 3rd Party Vendor Systems such as Fidessa & Murex as well as recruiting across the Nordic region.• This included building candidate database from scratch to over 800 candidates worldwide through networking• Mapped markets to understand client’s environment, team dynamics and sizes• At my peak, built contractor base generating £9,000+ weekly gross profit. • Billed £244k in 2012.• Billed £136k in 2011.• Wrote new business with clients such as HSBC, Societe Generale, Deutsche Bank, Macquarie Bank, leading to us becoming preferred suppliers in some instances.• This involved me successfully negotiating and agreeing terms of business.• Wrote business in London, New York, Amsterdam, Hong Kong, Stockholm.• This involved learning and respecting the compliance and regulations of each region.• Account managed relationship with Nordic based client and more then doubled our monthly gross profit there to circa £75,000+ • Ran meetings with staff of all levels from Directors to IT Support staff.• Received first class on the job training from senior recruitment professionals possessing 10+ years experience as well as from external sales trainers.• Sharing of valuable information amongst colleagues for the benefit of the team creating a collaborative environment – also providing advice / sharing experiences where relevant to help colleagues flourish.
