I refuse to begin this with a quote, because wow, cringe! However, there is this one Branson quote that lives rent-free in my head and has done since the first time I read it, well over a decade ago. Now, this quote has become more and more relevant as the years passed by; as I gained many scars and lessons with well-intentioned but untrained management. My experiences led me to create Hacker & Honeypot, a person centred executive search firm. We spend so much time at work, our relationships with colleagues is essential to our happiness and effectiveness. I just want people to be able to say “I actually really love my job”, because, well ... when was the last time you heard someone say that? Other than that, my red flags are buying too many books that end up on my TBR list, the silver lining being that I am that much more closer to living my dream of having my own private library. That, and refusing to speak or think or move unless I have a coffee first thing. Oh and I am not a morning person, I much prefer the quiet that comes with 3am.
