I continue to be inspired by those that I work with every day. By learning from passionate colleagues and hearing the stories of the great adversity my clients have overcome, my love for social work grows. My hope is to create inclusive environments where folks who have been marginalized can feel safe, respected, and connected. My current position is with Belong Ottawa at St Luke's Table, a drop in centre that supports vulnerable people in the city. Much of my professional experience has been working with women/gender diverse individuals at Cornerstone Housing for Women and the John Howard Society of Ottawa. I am also a Field Placement Liaison at Algonquin College for the Social Service Worker program.
