Working in college focused teams alongside members of the Technology Enhanced Learning and Academic Development teams, helping the university to translate existing face-to-face, as well as blended learning course content across all disciplines, into the online learning environment. I support the user research process and the further development, as well as quality assurance of these online materials, based on feedback. I also manage a small team of Digital Learning Assistants.This role involves collaborating with a wide variety of stakeholders from a range of disciplines, including academic and professional services colleagues, to promote the opportunities of the online learning environment through a comprehensive programme of training. I support the use of features and functionality within a range of Learning Technologies, as well as share best practice.

As a Student Social Media Ambassador I was required by the Humanities team, at the University of Exeter to produce weekly content based on our college's achievements and activities. Working closely with the Art History and Visual Culture department and the Digital Humanities Team, I often accompanied undergraduate field trip and alumni events to provide photography and reviews for the University of Exeter's social media channels.

As a Student Representative, I collected opinions, praise and concerns from students about their University experience. I presented this feedback at meetings of the Student/Staff Liaison Committee, or SSLC, with the aim of reaching a positive outcome for students.(The SSLC was primarily a meeting of the subject's student council and the Director of Education for that subject, but was also attended by additional staff members, and was open to all students in the department to attend as observers.)

The Exeter Student Ambassador Scheme (ESAS) is managed by the Student Recruitment Office (SRO). I worked with the SRO and other university departments to work on a wide range of events and activities throughout the year. I shared first-hand experiences of life as a University of Exeter student to a variety of different audiences, providing a positive, authentic and unscripted insight into the world of higher education. The work I undertook undertake involved both promoting the University of Exeter as an institution to prospective students and visitors; and helped to widen participation in higher education more generally by providing information, advice and guidance to young people from a diverse range of backgrounds who are under-represented.

As the President of your society, I held a number of responsibilities, these include but were not limited to:1) Overseeing the running of the AHVC Society as the Head of the Committee – this included delegating duties, overseeing others in their roles and supporting both the committee and the membership in their roles too. 2) Setting the direction, aims and objectives of the Society after consultation with the Committee.3) Supporting the Treasurer in terms of budgeting for the year. Additionally acting as a Financial signatory, signing off expenditure for the society with the Treasurer. 4) Acted as the Society representative to all external and internal agencies – this included setting the standard of behaviour I expected from both my committee and members in the knowledge that it is me people will be looking to act as both an example of behaviour!

Working in the University of Exeter branch. As a bookseller I helped customers with enquiries and orders, as well as being responsible for stock control. I was be responsible for offering advice, answering enquiries and ordering books for customers. I was also responsible for liaising with academics to prepare thier course content for the following academic year.
