ITF is a highly selective program that trains accomplished professionals and recent college graduates to become high-impact teachers in schools serving disadvantaged students throughout the Indianapolis area as well as the Northwest Indiana region. Our mission to provide the students of Indianapolis and Northwest Indiana with effective and committed teachers who are driven to do whatever it takes to make a positive impact on student academic outcomes. We look for outstanding professionals and recent college graduates from a diverse range of fields and backgrounds to bring their experience, knowledge, and records of achievement to public school classrooms to close the achievement gap. Fellows teach in the high-need content areas of math, science, World Languages and special education.
